Shawn Mendes has released his deeply autobiographical fifth studio album, Shawn. The album comes after a four-year break, during which Mendes took time to focus on his personal well-being and mental health.
Shawn, features 12 tracks, including notable singles such as “Why Why Why,” “Isn’t That Enough,” “Nobody Knows,” and “Heart of Gold.” The album blends elements of pop and folk, with production by Scott Harris and Mike Sabath, and offers an intimate look at Mendes’ self-discovery journey.
To celebrate the album, Mendes launched an exclusive theater tour, “For Friends and Family Only,” where he performed the entire album live. This special tour was documented in a concert film released on November 14, 2024.
