Usher is gracing us with all his big screen moments this year! From the Super Bowl halftime special to select AMC’s theaters, Usher: Rendezvous In Paris presents fans with an “ultimate intimate concert experience.”
According to the announcement, the shooting occurred during last year’s Paris Fashion Week at La Seine Musicale. “Paris was a special experience for me as an entertainer and for my fans,” Usher said in a statement. “I hope those who weren’t able to make it in person get to experience how special it was.” Additionally, the film “incorporates the essence” of Usher’s Vegas residency performances, including versions of the Grammy winner’s biggest RnB hits.
The movie will be released on September 12 with AMC Theatres Distribution. Usher joins AMC’s roster of concert films with previous projects like Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour and Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé. However, unlike those films, Usher’s will only show for a limited 4-day weekend global run.
