Recently, The Weeknd performed a special one-night-only concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The concert featured Abel Tesfaye’s new tracks, such as “Dancing in the Flames,” “Wake Me Up,” “Regular,” and “Runway,” from his upcoming album Hurry Up Tomorrow. This will be the last record Tesfaye will release under The Weekend moniker.
The live-streamed show at Estádio MorumBI also featured special guest and collaborator Playboi Carti and Brazilian superstar Anitta. Tesfaye played a remix of his previous albums complete with large-scale production and an army of background dancers for different arrangements. Next month, he’s touring Australia for the final leg of the “After Hours” tour.
Tesfaye began teasing Hurry Up Tomorrow in July as the final installment of his trilogy, which also includes 2020’s After Hours and 2022’s Dawn FM. “Dancing in the Flames,” will dropped this past Friday with its music video, which was all shot on the iPhone 16 Pro.
