The Latin Recording Grammys is preparing for the 25th anniversary of its annual awards show in Miami, where the Academy is headquartered. Before November 14, fans will vote for their favorites in the Latin music artist.
“Miami has evolved to become the epicenter of Latin entertainment,” said Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy, when announcing the show.
For the second year, producer and songwriter Édgar Barrera leads with nine nominations. This year, his nominations span significant categories, including Record of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Producer of the Year.
Latin superstars such as Bad Bunny and Karol G secured eight nominations, with Karol G’s *”Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season)”* up for Album of the Year.
Two new categories will be introduced in the 2024 edition: Best Contemporary Mexican Music Album and Best Latin Electronic Music Performance.
