The highly anticipated lineup for Primavera Sound 2025 has been revealed, and it boasts an eclectic mix of pop icons, indie legends, and genre-defining performers. Headlining the festival are three of pop’s most talked-about stars—Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan—who collectively dominated the summer of 2024. This marks a major milestone for the festival, bringing these next-gen pop powerhouses to center stage while continuing its commitment to blending mainstream and avant-garde talent.
Set to take place from June 5 to 7, 2025, at the iconic Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, the event promises to be one of the standout music experiences of the year. Alongside the headliners, the lineup features LCD Soundsystem, FKA Twigs, HAIM, Jamie xx, Beach House, and many more. Fans can also look forward to performances by Fontaines D.C., Turnstile, TV on the Radio, Wet Leg, Sturgill Simpson, and Stereolab, adding depth and variety to the festival’s diverse roster.
A notable highlight is the return of FKA Twigs, whose 2024 cancellation left fans eagerly awaiting her comeback. Additionally, the 2025 festival marks the much-anticipated European return of Cap’n Jazz, who will perform their only European show of the year.
Festival organizers highlighted the significance of this year’s headliners, calling Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan “the new faces of pop on a global level.” Each artist brings a unique flair to the lineup—Charli XCX, returning for her second consecutive year, is riding high on the success of her viral album Brat; Sabrina Carpenter, with hits like “Nonsense” and “Espresso,” continues to soar; and Chappell Roan has captivated fans with her Midwest-inspired pop anthems.
Beyond its pop-heavy headliners, Primavera Sound 2025 continues its tradition of offering a genre-spanning lineup. From the experimental sounds of Floating Points to the indie anthems of Idles and the dream-pop magic of Beach House, the festival caters to a broad range of music fans. Festival-goers can also expect sets from Jamie xx, Clairo, Aminé, and returning fan favorites like Denzel Curry, Beabadoobee, and Waxahatchee.
Since 2019, Primavera Sound has championed gender-balanced lineups, solidifying its commitment to equitable representation in the music industry. This year’s festival continues that legacy with a diverse and inclusive roster of artists.
