MTV announces 2023 Video Music Award Nominations

Taylor Swift, SZA and Beyonce lead

Get ready for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards! The nominations are out, and it’s a showdown between Taylor Swift and SZA leading the pack with eight and six nominations each. They both made it to the Video of the Year category with their amazing hits “Anti-Hero” and “Kill Bill” respectively. But wait, Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sam Smith and Kim Petras are tied with five nominations each. It’s going to be a fierce competition. Lastly, we can’t forget about the one and only Beyoncé, who is nominated for Artist of the Year. Although she didn’t release any music videos for Renaissance, she’s still in the running for this prestigious award.
