Bose and NME are set to release their limited edition, hand-numbered vinyl and ultra-limited cassettes of the C24 mixtape. These will be available in select independent record stores in the UK and US. The “C-series” makes a comeback with exclusives from recent Grammy winner Laufey, the cover artist turned superstar Teddy Swims, and modern R&B artist Artemas.
After decades of lying dormant, NME republished their iconic mixtape in 2023, featuring 15 emerging artists with 15 exclusive tracks in the collection. This was the first entry to the C-series since 1996, which launched Primal Scream’s career.
On July 19, all mixtape music will be released on major streaming platforms. Bose x NME’s mission is to showcase unsigned artists through their partnership with BandLab. BandLab’s community was invited to submit original tracks to the C24 panel for a feature. Artist Tehya earned her spot with her alt-pop single, “Peach Pit.”
