Jennie, a global superstar and a founding member of BLACKPINK, is embarking on a bold new chapter with the announcement of her debut solo album, Ruby, accompanied by a limited three-city tour to celebrate its release.
Set for release on March 7, Ruby will feature 15 tracks and an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, Doechii, Dominic Fike, FKJ, and Kali Uchis. Fans got a taste of what’s to come with Jennie’s October 2024 single, “Mantra,” which climbed the Billboard charts and solidified her as a solo force in music.
The exclusive Ruby Experience tour kicks off at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theatre on March 6, the night before the album’s release. Jennie will then perform at Radio City Music Hall in New York on March 10 and wrap up in her hometown of Seoul, South Korea, on March 15. Tickets go on sale January 31, with a portion of proceeds supporting recovery efforts for the recent Los Angeles wildfires.
Ruby marks Jennie’s first release under her independent label, Odd Atelier, in partnership with Columbia Records. The project represents creative freedom and showcases Jennie’s evolution as a global artist, blending a variety of genres with her signature style.
Jennie’s rise to global fame began in 2016 with BLACKPINK, a group that redefined K-pop on the world stage. From headlining Coachella to breaking YouTube records, Jennie’s contributions have been pivotal to the group’s success. Outside of music, she has also made her mark in acting, debuting in HBO’s The Idol in 2023.
Pre-orders for Ruby are now available in multiple formats, including photobooks, a CD digipack, and a Target-exclusive edition featuring a “Jennie Only Audio” version of the album.
