The song and video tell a powerful tale of seeking vengeance amid heartbreak. The dramatic music video explores the theme of acting on intrusive thoughts after a breakup. RIMON aimed to create a grand video to “elevate the track further” and cast rapper Dinos to play the role of the “toxic ex.” The opening scenes are set in a French chateau, which is eventually engulfed in flames by the end of the video. Through dramatic special effects and dark lighting, “City’s Burning” provides a satisfying release for viewers, with RIMON even holding a real animal heart to add to the shock value.
