It has been 20 years since Christina Aguilera’s standout album, Stripped ruled the charts. The singer in honor of World Mental Health Day, asked her followers to “Take your space, log off, put your mind, body, and soul first,” for the re-release and re-imaging video for, “Beautiful.”
“The original ”Beautiful’ video set out to bring awareness and a sense of compassion in the face of criticism,” she wrote on Twitter regarding the new video. “It still carries an important message to remember our core values outside of what’s being fed to us…to find a sense of balance and accepting ourselves for who we are.”
