Tyler Childers & Chris Stapleton to Headline Healing Appalachia

Country music stars Tyler Childers and Chris Stapleton are joining forces to co-headline this year’s Healing Appalachia benefit festival. The two acclaimed singer-songwriters — both proud Kentucky natives — will top the bill on September 19–20 at the Boyd County Fairgrounds in Ashland, Kentucky. It marks the first time the annual event is being held in their home state, and it’s for a cause close to home: Healing Appalachia supports Hope in the Hills, a nonprofit funding addiction recovery programs across the Appalachian region.

As luminaries of Appalachian country, Childers and Stapleton’s involvement makes this festival lineup especially meaningful. Organizers hailed them as “two sons of the Country Music Highway come home to help us heal Appalachia,” underscoring the pride of having local legends give back. Both artists weave their mountain roots through their music and are known for rolling up their sleeves for community causes. With their star power and heartfelt connection to the mission, fans can expect a powerful homecoming moment — and a big boost for the festival’s goal of healing in the hills.
