BLACKPINK’s Solo Takeover: LISA, JENNIE & ROSÉ Dominate the Charts

BLACKPINK has redefined global pop, but their solo careers are proving that each member is a force to be reckoned with. LISA, JENNIE, JISOO and ROSÉ have all stepped into their own artistic lanes, collaborating with some of the biggest names in music. From hip-hop to R&B and pop, their diverse sounds are capturing audiences worldwide, solidifying their places as global stars beyond BLACKPINK.

LISA has always commanded attention with her rap and dance mastery, but her recent collaborations have taken her artistry to new heights. Her track with Raye and Doja Cat is an undeniable club-pop powerhouse, blending their distinct styles into a high-energy anthem. But she didn’t stop there—her debut album, Alter Ego, cements her place across genres, featuring Megan Thee Stallion, Future, Rosalía, and Tyla, proving her versatility knows no bounds.

“Born Again”* marks the fourth single from Alter Ego, following “Rockstar,” “New Woman” featuring Rosalía, and “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me).” The album introduces five unique alter egos—Roxi, Kiki, Vixi, Sunni, and Speedi—each embodying a different facet of her artistry. “Fans will be surprised at how much I’ve explored musically,” LISA shared in a recent interview. Alter Ego is about reinvention, confidence, and fully stepping into one’s power.

Beyond music, LISA is making waves in Hollywood, making her acting debut in The White Lotus Season 3 this February. As if that weren’t enough, she’s gearing up for a solo performance at Coachella this April, marking yet another milestone in her unstoppable rise.

JENNIE’s solo career reaches new heights with Ruby, her debut album that landed in the Top 10 and showcases her genre-blurring artistry. Featuring Doechii, FKJ, Dua Lipa on “Handlebars,” and Childish Gambino, the album blends hip-hop swagger, sleek pop, and K-pop precision into a bold statement of reinvention.

Her collaboration with Doechii is a standout—a fierce, attitude-filled anthem backed by booming bass and an infectious hook. The neon-lit music video amplifies the track’s energy with high-intensity choreography and avant-garde fashion, proving JENNIE is both a trendsetter and global pop powerhouse. The single fit perfectly with the Dominic Fike-assisted, “Love Hangover,” and R&B laced “Damn Right” with Childish Gambino and Kali Uchis.

With Ruby, JENNIE isn’t just stepping into the spotlight—she’s owning it.

ROSÉ has always embraced an alternative-pop aesthetic, but her duet with Bruno Mars, “APT,” is her most globally resonant release yet. Fusing pop, R&B, and a touch of funk, the track allows ROSÉ’s ethereal vocals to shine over a rich, groovy production. The collaboration was a massive success, surpassing 1 billion streams and solidifying her status as a global pop force.

Her debut solo album, Rosie, is a landmark moment—not just for her but for Blackpink as a whole, as she became the first member to release a full solo album. Despite being packed with genre-spanning hits like “Number One Girl” just had one feature—Bruno Mars on “APT”—making it a focused, deeply personal statement of her artistry.

Beyond collaborations, ROSÉ cemented her pop royalty status with a soaring, emotionally charged debut that dominated global charts. The album’s success proves that ROSÉ isn’t just transitioning into a solo star—she’s redefining what a K-pop soloist can be on the global stage.

Jisoo is carving out her own path as a solo artist, and her journey has only just begun. After debuting last March with the single “ME,” she returns with her first full EP, AMORTAGE—a deeply emotional project about love, released just in time for Valentine’s Day. With four tracks, including the lead single “Earthquake,” the EP explores the many facets of love, from fiery passion to heart-wrenching heartbreak.

This release also marks a major milestone for Jisoo, as it’s her first project since signing a global deal with Warner Records in January. Sharing her excitement, Jisoo said, “I poured my heart into this project and I’m so excited to share it with you all. Thank you to BLINKs for your endless love and support—this one’s for you.” With tracks like “Your Love,” “TEARS,” and “Hugs & Kisses,” AMORTAGE signals that Jisoo is more than ready to make her mark as a solo artist.

As each member continues to carve out her own lane, it’s clear that BLACKPINK’s dominance isn’t just limited to their work as a group. Their solo careers are proving to be just as impactful, setting the stage for even bigger moves in the future.
