Coachella is back, and the 2025 lineup is a powerhouse blend of iconic performers, global stars, and breakout acts. Taking place over two weekends, April 11-13 and April 18-20, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, this year’s festival is headlined by Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott, each bringing their unique sound to reflect the festival’s genre-spanning legacy.
Lady Gaga, who last headlined Coachella in 2017 as a last-minute replacement for Beyoncé, is ready to make her grand return. Fresh off her new single “Disease” and the announcement of her upcoming music album, Gaga has teased a “massive night of chaos” to open the festival on Friday nights. On Saturdays, Green Day will bring their punk energy to Coachella for the first time, while Travis Scott debuts new music in a performance titled Travis Scott Designs the Desert. On Sundays, Post Malone closes out the weekends, marking his first headlining performance after his 2018 appearance.
The 2025 lineup also includes Missy Elliott, Megan Thee Stallion, and Charli XCX in prominent second-tier slots, alongside BLACKPINK’s LISA and JENNIE performing solo sets. Regional Mexican music is represented by Junior H and Ivan Cornejo, while Brazilian sensation Anitta and South Korean rapper Hanumankind add to the festival’s global representation.
Rock fans can look forward to The Original Misfits, The Go-Go’s, and Jimmy Eat World, while electronic music enthusiasts will find sets from Kraftwerk, Basement Jaxx, and Zedd. Rising acts like Salute and Snow Strippers bring fresh energy, and Beth Gibbons of Portishead offers a rare solo performance, adding a unique indie touch.
Coachella’s 2025 roster balances nostalgia with innovation, blending legacy acts and rising talent to cater to diverse musical tastes. Whether it’s the long-awaited return of Green Day, Lady Gaga’s headline-grabbing theatrics, or Travis Scott’s promise of a transformative show, the festival continues to be a defining force in live music. Tickets are on sale now as music fans prepare for the return of one of the year’s most anticipated festivals.
