Lady Gaga continues to dominate the music industry by picking up five (5) awards at the World Music Awards held yesterday in Monte Carlo. The singer took home the following awards: World’s Best Single for “Poker Face,” World’s Best Album, The Fame, World’s Best Pop/Rock Artist, World’s Best New Artist and Best-Selling US Artist. In addition to Gaga other winners included David Guetta, Black Eyed Peas, Akon and Jennifer Lopez was honored with the Legend for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts award.

Kelis will release Flesh Tone, her first album in nearly four years, July 6, via will.i.am Music Group/Interscope Records.
The new disc, which will be released May 17, outside of North America, is her first for will.i.am Music Group/Interscope Records.
The first single from the disc will be “Acapella,” which was produced by David Guetta, and is already an international No. 1 hit.
In addition to working with Guetta on the new disc, Kelis also worked with will.i.am, Free School, Boys Noize, Bumz, DJ Ammo, and Benny Benassi.
Estelle previews her upcoming album with “Freak,” featuring Kardinal Offishall. The track is produced by David Guetta and is off of Estelle’s new album All of Me coming soon.

Jay-Z, Muse, and Gorillaz will headline the 11th annual Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, April 16 through 18, at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California. They lead a lineup of more than 130 acts who will perform at the three-day festival.
Tickets for the festival go on sale Friday (January 22) at 10:00 am. Three-day weekend passes will be priced at $269.00 plus surcharges.
