Whitney Houston’s new album is set for a worldwide release on September 1, 2009 on Arista Records.  The highly anticpated return will be titled I Look To You. The Arista team will be doing a video rewind to remind us of just how talented Whitney truly is. Up next is her iconic “Queen of the Night,”  the fifth single from 1992’s 17xPlatinum The Bodyguard soundtrack and the fifth #1 dance single of Whitney’s career.In other news, Drake landed in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 this week, with “Best I Ever Had” and “Every Girl,” his collaboration with Lil Wayne, Gudda Gudda, Mack Maine and Jae Millz. Also in the top 10 are The Black Eyed Peas at No. 1 and No. 2 with “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling,” Keri Hilson featuring Kanye West and Ne-Yo’s “Knock You Down,” Pitbull’s “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho),” Lady GaGa’s “Lovegame,” Sean Kingston’s “Fire Burning” and  Jeremih’s “Birthday Sex.”

According to Billboard Magazine, “Thug Story” featuring T-Pain,  a parody of Taylor Swift’s hit “Love Story” got picked up by 26 mainstream top 40 radio stations after its video debut at the CMT Awards ceremony.

Perez Hilton sued the road manager of The Black Eyed Peas on Wednesday for allegedly punching him in the face outside a Toronto nightclub. According to Reuters, he filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against Polo Molina, alleging battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. He is seeking unspecified damages.
