Beyoncé took home six Grammy awards Sunday night (January 31), the most by any artist this year during the ceremony, which took place in Los Angeles, California.
Her track “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It”) took home Song Of The Year Honors.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift received four awards, including Album Of The Year for Fearless. “Oh wow – thank you so much! I just hope that you know how much this means to me…. that we get to take this back to Nashville,” Swift said.
“Oh my God, our families are freaking out in their living rooms. My dad and my little brother are losing their minds in the living room right now.”
Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody” won multiple awards, including Record Of The Year. Lady Gaga took home a pair of awards during the non-televised portion of the ceremony and opened the televised portion of the show with a medley which wrapped with her sitting across from Elton John on dueling pianos as they merged “Superstar” with his classic track “Your Song.”
