The Dave Matthews Band will spend its summer touring North American and will bring with it an impressive series of opening acts.
A pair of shows in Hartford, Connecticut, will kick off the tour, May 28 and 29, and the band will remain on the road through a September 15 performance in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings will open the first two shows of the tour. The Felice Brothers will open the next four dates, starting with a June 1 show in Toronto, Ontario. The Yonder Mountain String Band will open a pair of shows in Mansfield, Massachusetts, June 7 and 8.
Robert Earl Keen will support the next five shows, starting June 15, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Martin Sexton will then support the next four shows, starting June 23, in Clarkston, Michigan. The Zac Brown Band will open seven, non-consecutive shows, beginning with a pair of shows in East Troy, Wisconsin, July 3 and 4.
Amos Lee will open a pair of shows in Bethel, New York, and Scranton, Pennsylvania, July 13 and 14 and then shows in Virginia Beach, Virginia and Charlotte, North Carolina, July 20 and 21. Gov’t Mule will join the tour July 27, in Atlanta, Georgia, and will open four shows.
Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears will open an August 14 show in Wichita, Kansas, and will then open the final four shows of the tour, September 10, 11, 14, and 15. Brett Dennen will open three shows, starting with an August 17 show in West Valley City, Utah. Raphael Saadiq will support four shows, starting August 23 at Los Angeles, California’s Hollywood Bowl. Ben Harper and Relentless7 will open three shows in George, Washington, September 3 through 5.
