Lady Gaga is once again planning another great idea and turning it into action. Back before Joanne arrived in October, the singer went on a short, intimate Bud Light Dive Bar Tour where she played to only a few hundred fans to reminisce her roots of coming to fame in the music business. It's time to do it once again.
Gaga has announced that she will do it different however by playing only one date on July 13th in Las Vegas in the small-venue fashion. The catch is that two currently-unnamed artist with be joining her on this show and, then from there, will have there very own shows on July 26th in Los Angeles and on August 30th in New Orleans. Each event will be livestreamed on Facebook.
On playing dive bars on the come-up, Gaga told Billboard:
I feel like it's really exciting that this is happening, because this Dive Bar/Bud Light concept was something that we invented together, and I feel so excited that it's living on. And what I will tell you about these future artists that are playing is that it's a very diverse group. Everything that you're seeing at these dive bars are not going to be the same: It's not the same types of artists, it's not connected in any way. It's all about celebrating diversity.
What do you make of this?
