Bryson Tiller's second studio album, True to Self, was dropped a month early before it's intended release seemingly out of nowhere. First he released 3 songs at once and then the whole thing in a matter of weeks signifying how eager he must of been to put out music. The lead single "Somethin Tells Me" now has gotten the music video treatment and gives an interesting scenario.
In the video Tiller takes on the role of a photographer where he chooses to snap shots of black models in a tropical environment. Some are calling the visual a testament to empowerment and confidents, especial in the black woman world, which the world 100% needs right now.
What were your impressions of the video?
