It's safe to say that the world is ready for the next music from Selena Gomez since her collab with Kygo on "It Ain't Me." Other than that she has seen wild success as an executive producer for the Netflix series Thirteen Reasons Why.
Hits Daily Double spoke with John Janick, head of Interscope, and Steve Berman, vice chairman, recently and Janick had to say:
“Selena—I think we’ve only scratched the surface with her. When I signed her, she wanted to figure out how to transition to a more mature sound, and her last album was the biggest she’s ever had. But the next one, from what music we have already, blows away what she did before. There was some great music on the last album and big hits with ‘Good For You’ and ‘Same Old Love.’ But, the music she’s making now is next level.”
The previous Revival came in October of 2015 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. It has since been certified platinum.
What do you think the next music will sound like?
