Ed Sheeran has always been known for clear cut production and songwriting abilities that get lyrics stuck in your head after just one single listen. ÷ is a classic Sheeran album and there's no falsehood in that in the slightest.
The acoustic guitar licks, the plethora of love songs, the English accent; it's all there for your listening pleasure. The 12-track standard album, and the 16-track deluxe, are a dense number of possible future hits. These songs are going to make you feel a lot of emotion at a single time.
"Supermarket Flowers," "How Would You Feel (Paean)," and "Save Yourself" represent the somber side of the album while "New Man," "Shape Of You," and "Bibia Be Ye Ye" round out the other side of spectrum as being a little more upbeat. As a whole there really isn't a single snooze-fest of a song on the whole release. We all know how talented Ed Sheeran is but ÷ proves it once again.
It has also been announced that Ed will be performing on the TODAY show on March 8th.
