BANKS Goes Against The Grain In "Trainwreck"

The second album from pop queen BANKS, The Altar, peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200 chart. With tracks like "Gemini Feed" and "Mind Games" you simply know that the singer is of a breed of something fresh. The new video for "Trainwreck" proves this even further with dark thematics.

In the visual we find BANKS being followed around and forcible-directed around by a group of creepy, cloned men. Directed by Marie Schuller, the video will feel like a nightmare and you just wanting the artist to find a way to get out of the scenario. On the song, the 28-year old talent has to say:

“Those were some of the first lyrics I ever wrote! So I knew that there would be a home for those lyrics at some point. I was like a trippy little girl and that’s what music does to me. I felt like an alien and it was like a place for me to be an alien. They stayed in my head! It was like a chant. I do remember writing it — I wrote it down in a notebook. I always remember those lyrics, though. There are some lyrics that I’ve written that I always will remember.”
