The Highest-Paid Artist of 2016

The highest paid musicians are sometimes easy to guess. This year came as no surprise to hear that Taylor Swift has been the highest-paid musician of 2016. Forbes released information that from June 1, 2015 to June 1, 2016 Swift made an estimated $170 million.

One Direction followed in second place -- nowhere near Swift -- with a still hefty $110 million. Swift hasn't even released music since 2014's 1989 but has been absolutely killing it when it comes to touring and product partnerships. Expect it to remain that way for a long, long time for Taylor.

On top of this Forbes mentioned that third place Adele heavily relied on her album sales for the most part whereas the others on the list saw revenue streams from other aspects of the business industry.

Who do you think 2017's highest-paid artist will be?
