A rock nerd's heaven, Sound City stands as a true testament of depicting the inside look of the famous Sound City Studios. Directed by Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana), the story takes place in San Fernando Valley, California. Interviews of band members such as Paul McCartney (the Beatles), Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks, Trent Renznor (Nine Inch Nails), Frank Black (the Pixies), Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age), and many, many others lead the talk as to why the story of the studio was so special. The film describes the journey of the space throughout it's beginnings in 1969 to it's end in 2011. From there Grohl decides to buy the Neve Recording console to not let that piece of history die.
Sound City hold a 100% on the widely-picky Rotten Tomatoes website.
