The 2016 presidential election has been counted and the results have been shocking to many. In the hours since the news, people of color, the LGBTQ community, and younger demographics have voiced their fear for the future of the nation as social progress may or may not have a rough 4 years. It's safe to say that a lot of people don't really know how to act or feel and, because of that, we search for various outlets, including musicians, for support.
Here are a few of reactions from artists:
Do not sit still. Do not weep. MOVE. We are not a nation that will let HATE lead us.

In times like this we must stand together and overcome any obstacle that threatens human rights. We are all human and we need to accept each other. Maybe the next 4 years won't be that bad but if you are privileged, because of the color of skin you were born with, do your best to help those who aren't as lucky and face an uncertain future. Love trumps hate.
