Kaytranada Is A Party Starter in "YOU'RE THE ONE" Video

So when does Keeping Up With Kaytranada broadcast? #imjustsaying

The (recent) Polaris Prize-winner has kept the ball rolling with the release of a brand new music video. The retro visual accompanies "YOU'RE THE ONE," a standout track on his recent album 99.9% that features The Internet's SYD. Pulling from Kaytra's favorite childhood television programming, the visual is directed by Shomi Patwary, explaining --

"Stylistically it was influenced by the look of black sitcoms from the early 90s — from Martin to Living Single and UPN sitcoms. The African prince idea derived from the plot of Coming To America."

There's a whole lot going on here, pairing with his previous videos just right -- check out "Glowed Up," our personal favorite.

This video is presented right after the sudden release of his mixtape, .001%.
