Kaytranada Wins 2016 Polaris Music Prize

Canada's Polaris Music Prize is a true honor, celebrating the country's most noteworthy Album Of The Year. Who snagged the spot this year? Deservingly so, Kaytranada took home the prize for his 2016 project, 99.9%. He was up against some strong competitors including musicians like Carly Rae Jepsen, GrimesJessy Lanza, Black Mountain and White Lung. This year's award was presented to Kaytra by Native Canadian singer-songwriter Buffy Sainte-Marie.
