After finally revealing a brand new visual album, Endless, this past Thursday (August 18), a music video for single “Nikes” the following Saturday morning (August 20), and another album titled Blonde, Frank Ocean has simply overwhelmed us -- in the best way possible, of course. The Blonde album exclusively came with a large, glossy magazine titled Boys Don’t Cry, the originally assumed title of his project.
To celebrate the release, the mysterious artist hosted pop-up shops in major cities including New York City, London, Chicago and Los Angeles. Silver packages were available that consisted of the magazine and a copy of Blonde on CD were seen in displays of New York's Mulberry Iconic Magazines where Blonde was being played for attendees through Sonos speakers.
In LA, their pop-up shop was held at Centerfold International in Fairfax with his mother and brother in attendance.
Did we mention it was all free?
