At just 20 years old, Martin Garrix has made power moves that completely define his drive to the top. The producer has officially announced his signing with Sony Music International, locking in a worldwide contract.
“Martin is one of the pre-eminent DJ/producers and songwriters in the world today,” Adam Granite claimed in a press release (President of Northern, Eastern Europe, Africa, and Sony International.) “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome him and his team to the Sony Music family.”
His claim to fame began on a great foot, collaborating with noteworthy artists such as Avicii, Tiesto, Ed Sheeran and more. 2013's "Animals" was his defining moment, selling over 10 million copies (and still counting!)
“I’m super excited to be working with such a hungry and passionate team at Sony Music Entertainment,” Garrixx said. “Their forward thinking approach to streaming and incredible roster of talented artists combined with their passion and understanding for my vision of the future of my music made this a no brainer.”
Martin Garrix will reveal his first Sony release with Bebe Rexha this Friday (July 29) in the form of a single called "In The Name Of Love."
