Nick Jonas Speaks of Christina Grimmie's Death, Increased Show Security

After too many shootings in a musical setting, the question lies -- why is show security not tighter at the door? To be able to bring in a very dangerous weapon strikes concern amongst concert goers. Christina Grimmie's tragic death could have been prevented if these things were considered.

In a radio interview, Nick Jonas expressed his worry on the matter.

"I was talking to my manager about it the other day. Interestingly enough, in an interview a while ago, he mentioned that he thinks that security needs to be increased at venues," he said on the KTUmorning show. "Just something that should be looked at across the country and across the world. I think it's obviously very poignant.

"I don't know if I can comment for the whole situation of what needs to be changed to fix the situation, but my heart goes out to Christina's family. It's just so heartbreaking. She introduced me at the iHeartRadio festival this last year, and I had a chance to talk with her backstage and meet her for a minute, and she was so sweet and just kind of a light, a real positive energy."
