Ledisi, Fantasia, Leon Bridges to Perform at The BET Honors

This year at The BET Honors, we are hit with a great handful of talent to perform on the Warner Theatre stage in Washington D.C.. Of these include Empire's Jussie Smollett and V. Bozeman, Fantasia, Leon Bridges, Ledisi, and The Deele with presentation being honored by none other than leading lady Mary J. Blige. Golden Globe winner Taraji P. Henson will also be on hand with Blige when the show is taped this weekend, January 23rd.

To be honored at The BET Honors is well, quite literally, an honor. This year's highlights include:

Empire's co-creator Lee Daniels for the "Film & Television Award"

CEO and Chairman of Epic Records L.A. Reid, receiving the "Business of Entertainment Award"

Ms. Patti Labelle for the "Musical Arts Award" (but we think she should get an award for her pies)

Business woman extraordinaire Mellody Hobson for the "Corporate Citizen Award"

and last but not least, former U.S. Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr., receiving the "Public Service Award."

This year's BET Honors host is Comedian/actor Arsenio Hall and will premiere on February 23rd on BET Networks.
