It's not Coachella without reunions and this year's Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California, will include one of the most highly anticipated reunions in decades when most of the original lineup of Guns N' Roses headlines the Saturday night slots of the festival, April 16 and 23.
The reunion of the legendary '90s rockers - reportedly with four of the five original members on stage (only former drummer Steven Adler is not expected to appear; he will likely be replaced by Matt Sorum) - will be the kickoff of what is expected to be a North American tour for the band which is expected to take place primarily in stadiums later this year.
Another rumored reunion, that of LCD Soundsystem, will also take place, with the New York City group headlining the two Friday nights (April 15 and 22.) Calvin Harris will headline the two Sunday night slots (April 17 and 24).
Among the other artists appearing on the Friday slots include Ellie Goulding, Sufjan Stevens, M83, the Kills, Foals, Savages, and St. Germain. Notable Saturday slots will go to Ice Cube, Disclosure, Zedd, A$AP Rocky, CHVRCHES, Grimes, Run the Jewels, Gary Clarke Jr., Lush, and Deerhunter.
Sunday notables include Major Lazer, Sia, Beach House, Rancid, the 1975, Miike Snow, Cold War Kids, and Pete Yorn.
