Today, rising artist Greyson Chance's new single, "Afterlife," is available on iTunes, representing the magnificent stance of this singer/songwriter in the world of music. Afterlife showcases Greyson’s R&B, funk, and jazz influences and has him reaching impressive vocal heights. His voice enchants listeners through a bluesy baritone and soaring high notes that evoke a timeless spirit.
But this is just the beginning - Greyson will be releasing a new EP in early 2016, entitled Somewhere Over My Head. His sophomore album, said to be reminiscent of Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience combined with iconic sounds of Sam Sparro, will reveal how his style has evolved into soulful pop with a modern twist. The album was written and put together between Oklahoma and Los Angeles, starting most tracks in Oklahoma and moving on to perfect them in studios in Los Angeles.
“Somewhere Over My Head represents my growth in music and ultimately where I feel I fit now as an artist,” said Greyson. “The songs, lyrically, express my journey to eighteen and the trials, tribulations, and adventures that come along with that road. I hope people can listen and feel a connection to the songs and know that they cover real stories in my life.”
