AC/DC to hit streaming services

AC/DC one of the last major holdout artists who would not permit their music to be streamed online legally has relented and, as of Tuesday (June 30), the Australian group's music will be available to be streamed on Spotify and Rdio.

Tuesday is also the day that Apple Music launches and The New York Times is reporting that AC/DC's music will also debut on Apple Music when the service launches Tuesday.

AC/DC was one of the last major groups to allow their songs to be downloaded legally, waiting until late 2012 to permit iTunes to sell digital copies of their songs and albums.

Among the artists still not permitting the streaming of their songs are The Beatles, Prince, Garth Brooks, Bob Seger, and Thom Yorke.
