Lorde tops Hot 100 for sixth week



Lorde's "Royals" holds the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for a sixth consecutive week, fending off a hard-charging Eminem as well as Miley Cyrus, whose "Wrecking Ball" rose one spot to No. 2.

Eminem's "The Monster" (featuring Rihanna), entered the chart at No. 3. The track was No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart with 373,000 sold.

Katy Perry's "Roar" drops from No. 2 to No. 4, and Avicii's "Wake Me Up!" falls one spot to No. 5.

One Direction's "Story of My Life" entered the chart at No. 6.  Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home" (featuring Majid Jordan) falls from No. 5 to No. 7.

Imagine Dragons' "Demons" jumps one spot to No. 8. OneRepublic's "Counting Stars" tumbles one spot to No. 9.  Rounding out the top 10 is Lady Gaga's "Applause," which fell from No. 7.
